I'm surprised this board doesn't have one already.

Anyway, you probably know how it goes. I say a quote, and manages to spot the film it's from gets to say another quote and keep us guessing.

Only rule is that you can only choose quotes that you think people can guess. So no quotes from the deleted scenes of "Field of Dreams" or something like that. Keep it real, people! :)

Also, don't use any internet sites to spot the quotes because that's just cheating. Anyone can type the quote into google and see where it comes from.

So, first quote is:

"The light that burns twice as bright burns half as long. And you have burnt so very, very brightly, Roy."

What film? Pretty easy.

Anyway, here's a quote which most of you will probably get:

Pulp Fiction is probably one of my top 10 favorite films. Because of Pulp Fiction I really started to see the talent in some lessor known actors. However, Pulp Fiction brought Samuel L. jackson to the mainstream for us. I am sure he may have made it without Pulp Fiction, but PF just got him there that much sooner.

Here's one that's a bit more difficult than my last tries: "No, I've never seen that, I've never seen anyone drive thier garbage out to the curb and bang the hell out of it with a stick. I've never seen that."

Very good...I firgured Minion would be the one to get that. I know he digs that flick.

Good guess Tullaryx, but it's an older movie. Here's a hint

Without googling, is that something from the movie Gods & Monsters, or is it Frankenstein? I haven't seen the former bar a few clips and the latter in a long while. And that's without googling, so I'm probably wrong. Everyone's being so obscure, lol.

Well I wouldn't really call my quote "Obscure" but from the looks of the quotes used on here anything outside of the 80's is getting "obscure"! ;)

If you haven't seen "Gods and Monsters" you are missing out Minion! It's a excellent look at the life of James Whale and what made him tick. Sir Ian Mckellan was born to play the Director of some of the greatest Horror films EVER. They even look alike!

Gods and Monsters was an great freaking film. Brendan Fraser did a great job and Sir Ian Mckellan, my god, was fantastic. this is truly a great great movie.

That would be Eraserhead (1977)

This was a test campaign used in 1947 to market a new product. The product was a drug, a tranquilizer called 'Ephemerol'. It was aimed at pregnant women. If it had worked it would have been marketed all over North America. But the campaign failed and the drug failed, because it had a side effect on the unborn children. An invisible side effect.
