Looks like the scummy father of the Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman?

HA! There are similarities. I saw an article about TWD where they thought that guy was Jim Carrey, who has previously worked with Darabont. I guess I can kinda see that. You can tell it's not him, though.

Ever since the advertising I've thought that zombie reminded me of someone, but I still haven't been able to put a finger on it...

I thought of Nick Cave when I first saw him, I don't think he really resembles him, it's just the first thought that popped into my head.

EW: There was one zombie in the show that looked just like Jim Carrey, who worked with Frank Darabont on The Majestic. Can you confirm whether or not that was a cameo from Ace Ventura?
RK: It’s not Jim Carrey at all. And dammit, most days I remember that guy’s name. He’s a great guy. I’ve met him a few times. He works for [visual effects company] KNB. He appears like maybe four times as different zombies in the six episodes.

Yeah, that's the one. The also mention how Rick's hat was replaced onto his head digitally. That blew my mind. Never could tell...

It's KEVIN freakin' BACON!

There's probably a shout-out to Lou involved with that...but it's still early.

Here's what I found priceless,
If you scroll down and check out the Comments section for that particular article, you'll find this poster named "Luanne" explaining how she gathered her family, including her 6yr old daughter and 10yr old son in front of the TV at 10pm on Halloween Night and was "Just SO HORRIFIED by what she saw, and ANGRY that AMC would allow such a vile program to air." She goes on to whine about how her kids cried for hours, her daughter wet the bed, and neither kid would stay asleep due to waking up from nightmares.

She's an obvious troll, but the encouraging part is that EVERY other person who posted in the Comment thread after "Luanne" was ripping on her, mocking her, expressing their fervent desire that people like her be subjected to forced sterilization/revocation of their being allowed to parent children.

I responded rather pragmatically, quoting the November 1st press release by AMC's president. The part about The Walking Dead drawing an audience of 5.3 million for the 10pm premiere alone, and a total of 8.1 million viewer for it and the encore showings later that night. Mentioned (quite rightly I believe) that no network executives in their right mind would pull the plug on a show whose premier just drawn an audience 4.2 million individuals larger than their next-most-successful show, aka the Season 2 premier of Breaking Bad. My favorite line was "Luanne, it wouldn't matter if you set yourself and your children on fire in protest of TWD outside AMC's headquarters. Unless you have 5.4 confirmed cable subscribers in your back pocket to back your play, you're pissing into the wind."

It's a rather funny flame war. Check it out.

P.S: That zombie is one of the creepier ones that actually gave me a shiver for some reason. That extra should be commended for capturing the picture-perfect zombie demeanor/body language.

That's just sad really, wyld. Just bad parenting. She didn't see the warnings that played before the show and after every commercial? Or the "TVMA" logo in the corner? What a dolt.

I think (s)he's just an obvious troll, as Wyld mentioned. But, yeah, I thought the same thing, Bass.

Turns out TWD has a Bacon Rating of "2" (type in Andrew Lincon)

As for that zombie, yeah he really stood out. He struck me as a "hero zombie". And he looks like everyone in this post so far. Here was one guy he made me think of when I first saw him:

Given the Darabont/King connection, I supposed it's possible...?:shifty:

What I don't get about that zombie is how front and center he was, yet you never see him take action. You see him get off the bus, then you see him give that strange look to Rick at the tank hatch. All the other zeds are going after the tank or horse, while this guy is side-stepping into frame with an "I see youuuuu".

Yeah, I kinda wondered about that. Don't know if it's because Rick first passed him on the way in & it was a kind of "Here I am! See?!? You're in deep shit buddy!", OR if maybe they're planning on using him as a "featured zombie" (kinda like Cemetery Zombie or Number 9) during the time in Atlanta?
