We’ve sent our greatest weapon to your lands…. James Blunt.
I hear he is doing quite well in the billboard charts both album and single wise. In fact he's the most successful import from the UK since 1997.
I'm afraid you'll be hearing "You're Beautiful" for many months to come...

Thanks!

Argh. I am not a big fan of him whatsoever...his voice...I thought it was a girl until someone told me it wasnt...then I asked...well is he at least 11 or 12?
Nope.
Voices just get to me. That is why I cant stand Rush, or cant get into Iron Maiden...I just cant stand that singing style...

*those* Yanks who claim America single-handedly won WW2 are the reason I say ... the same faff-merchants who thought Americans capturing the Enigma machine in U-571 was a good idea.
It's an oldie, but a goodie. :D

Yeh I think that "bootiful" song sucks beanbag too...and James Blunt is annoying, not my kind of music anyway.
Very Radio 1 friendly - exactly the sort of poo that gets stuck in my head and I can't get it out. Thank fook I didn't get that Pussy Cat Dolls song stuck in my head (like I usually do) when I watched "Date Movie" this morning (damn it was a short movie!)

Day Watch as in the 2nd part of the Night Watch trilogy? I know it's out in Russia, but wasn't sure anyone would have got around to doing a decent translation for a download.
Thank fook I didn't get that Pussy Cat Dolls
Sadly I have the "beep" song or whatever it's called on regular loop on the crap radio station that is my head.

If you think his singing voice is girly just wait till you hear him speak...

Yep it's night watch part2. i'm uncertain of the translation as yet, but i'm thinking it's a quickie fan subtitled job. but i'll watch it and let you know tonight.

He has, without a doubt the most annoying voice on record. I must say...I'm surprised people can like a song sung by a guy who has no obvious vocal talents whatsoever...except maybe...well, thats not for this...children may read this..
but at any rate, the guy is just rancid...just wait til we have to hear his next song...

I'm still to watch Underworld 2, haven't found a good torrent, same goes for Day Watch. I saw Night Watch the other day - impressive for a Russian flick...but *sigh* it just seemed like it was shoved right up it's own arse, as if it was deliberately seeking out the cult-following The Matrix gained. Plus it'd be nice to have some answers (and therefore understanding) in the first film so I'd be more inclined to see the next two.
As for Underworld, I really dug the first flick, so I'm hoping that'll be good.
Date Movie - hmmm, the trailer made it look funnier than I think it actually was. But, it wasn't atrocious either, pretty bad - but a guilty pleasure. As a big fan of toilet humour, I loved the cat blasting a dookie, hehe.
Doublay 24? Two episodes on tonight is it? Dang, if so I've got a good day of downloading tomorrow! So far this fifth season has been wicked.

Nothing to brag about there.
Us americans have Dave Matthews. So yeah, go shove it. :p
In all seriousness, Blunt isn't bad. I haven't heard a whole lot of his stuff, but from what I've heard, he could become something good. Not bad stuff.

The Clerks cartoon was pretty good. Too bad there's only like....6 episodes...
Randal Graves: State your name and latest film.
George Lucas: George Lucas, Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.
Randal Graves: And, do you think Phantom Menace is as good a movie as Empire?
George Lucas: Well, certainly, I, uh, think it's the best movie I've made yet.
Randal Graves: Permission to treat this witness as hostile. Mr. Lucas, how do you explain that in Star Wars, Obi-Wan tells Luke that when he met his father he was a great pilot, but in Menace he's just a little boy?
George Lucas: Uh, well, my... my kids thought...
Randal Graves: And how come Obi-Wan tells Luke that Yoda is the Jedi that trained him, but in the movie Liam Neeson trains Obi-Wan?
George Lucas: Uh, well, the power of myth...
Randal Graves: Isn't it true you knew this was a bad movie, that you wrote it over a weekend but kept telling people it was done for years?
Lawyer: Objection, your honor. The pod race was pretty cool.
I love that episode of Clerks...
But back on topic.....That Blunt fellow has some pretty good tunes and he seems to have a bit of talent(more than most these days, anyway). The only problem is....If I here that "Beautiful" song one more time, i'm going to beau - blow my brains out. Heard it wayyyy too much. Damn radio stations and the crap they play in Walmart...
