I Found this free FPS game on the net, its pretty good and the graphics are very good for a free game and its got a lot of thought in it, unlike most FPS games your required to solve puzzles and think about what your doing.

the controls are simple, the graphics are good and its free. 100% free.

i been hooked by this game so i figured i'd share it with you guys, the official site where you can download the full game is here (http://frictionalgames.com/?q=penumbra).

I've just downloaded it and I'll give it a try when I get the chance, but from what I've seen so far, it looks very nice indeed.

Now... time for a zombie mod!

I'm suprised the minimum requirements aren't astronomical... here's a small article I did awhile back about the rising specs of gaming

well if you notice we really are starting to reach the technology limit, until someone comes up with a replacement for silicone chipsets.. we've peaked. surely you've noticed the dramatic slow down in technology rises this last couple of years?

for example, PC processors, jumped from like 1ghz to 3ghz in a matter of 2 years... and here we are 2 years after the very first 3ghz processor was released.. still no sign of 4 even.

another example, notice the graphics jump from the SNES to the PS1/N64... we've not a seen a jump that big on any new consoles.. it seems all next gen is nowadays is higher resolution.
