It must be the person who kidnapped her that's doing the texting...Think about it...If she were actually stuck in some dark basement and had her cell phone, she would not likely be wasting her time texting, even if she was trying to be quiet, because she would be scared to death and she would want to talk to her mom and hear her voice or something, I'm sure. Maybe there is some sicko out there playing with her phone because he wants to torture the mom too!?

Missing girl back home
A 13-year-old Jersey City girl missing since Monday who sent chilling text messages of abduction and abuse to her mother is back home tonight after being found near Times Square early this morning.

The girl spent most of the day at Bellevue Hospital in New York and was then questioned by Jersey City's Missing Persons unit before returning home around 6 tonight.

Police Chief Robert Troy said he believes the girl was not abducted but instead was having an ongoing relationship with a Fairview man and voluntarily met him Monday morning.

It's not clear how or why she wound up in New York.
