I've just watched episodes 511 and 512 - and damn - GREAT episodes.
After the quite dull 509 and the bit better 510, these two episodes were just fantastic. I was sat on the edge of my seat the whole time and right at the end of 512 - very powerful. Now, my mate accidentally gave away that Edgar kicks the bucket, which was annoying - but I didn't know how - so there was still a shock factor. Except for his death being a tad underplayed (more drama and not falling behind a desk would have been better), the whole sequence was really chilling and powerful - all the more so as they played out the last 3 seconds of the clock silently - has that been done before on 24? I'm not sure...
Anyway, this series is thus far awesome, anyone else screaming "JACK BAUER!!!" everytime they get excited a new episode is about to air? :)

My name is Wooley and I too am addicted to the Jack Bauer Power Hour.
Last week was good, but I would have liked to see Edgar go down a little more graphically, like some of the other people in CTU did. Play it up a bit.
I did like seeing Jack pop Henderson's wife. Shows again that the ends justify the means to Jack and that he is not a man with whom to screw.

"Jack Bauer Power Hour" - I'm liking it.
Yeh, Edgar really needed to 'amp it up' a bit, some of the extras were going nuts, slamming against glass and choking etc - but I guess that was more in the action vibe of the scene. Edgar's death came in a more intense and reserved vibe at the end of the show, which wasn't about loud noises and waving your arms about ... but still, he could have kicked it up a notch...I thought nerve gas was supposed to be painful...hmmm.
Still, a damn affecting ending to a show. Can't wait to see what happens next, a whole hour stuck in a room? lol.

This is easily the best season so far. Download (if your not already) last nights episode.
holy ****!
I suspect Bauer's body count for this season to grow by a factor of 20. and Robocop is ****ing done for.

Don't you worry, I'm on the job ... of downloading 24 513 ... as always it goes slow on the Tuesday, but tomorrow it'll blast off in like an hour and it'll be Boom-Boom-Bauer-Time.
Yeh, I keep thinking of Robocop when Weller comes on screen. I can't wait to see 513 ... hopefully my other 24 obsessed mates won't give away any spoilers this time, unlike last week *grrr*.

I'd say the figure Homeland Security was saying about 40% losses at CTU are going to be on the low side once they clear out that morgue.
The Hobbit kicking off didn't surprise me. Tony's death did. I thought I'd heard somewhere that the writers had planned to have Tony die with Michelle but decided to keep him around. Guess they figured this way woudl have been a better way to off a character. Sucks to have been that red shirt security guard though. But he was the only one to tell the McGill that he screwed up badly. McGill's death is what Edgar's shoudl have been, I think. That twitch thing McGill did on the camera was good.
Jack Bauer will go Darth Vader on Robocop's butt when he finds him.
I'm hoping it involves the slow, painful use of Jack's Microtech switchblade.

Oh yeh, episode 513 was freakin' awesome.
And indeed, McGill amped up the death to the right amount, felt more realistic. Edgar's performance made it seem that nerve gas wasn't so bad, lol - but it was still a moving scene at the end of 512.
I too was surprised by the Tony thing, after being in four whole seasons too, damn.
I was a bit unsettled by seeing the dude from The Hillside Strangler being Kim's new bitch though...two different characters of course, but it's still weird.

i dunno, the best suggestion i've heard is Robocop is going to kidnap kim, hence as always placing her in "peril".
i think at this point given what Jack was prepared to do to walt cummings, i think none of us are prepared for what going to happen to Robocop.
remember at the end of "the Prophecy" where Viggo Mortenson (best Lucifer EVER!) rips out and devours Christopher Walkens' heart.
it'll be alot like that.
