I only really read super hero based stuff... but I'd try Powers. It's about two normal police officers who work on "Powers" related crimes.

The only comics I ever had were "The REAL Ghostbusters". I still have every one of them. Plus the first two issues in mint condition.

I know that's not what you're looking for. Just wanted to share.:)

Ghostbusters rocks!:shifty:

You have to get Y: The Last Man. It is one of the best comics on the market. It starts off with all the men on Earth dying except for the main character and his monkey. Get it and I can almost gurantee you will love the series.

"Now there's something I can't get enough of... a man and his monkey."
I've never read Y, I'm quite a big fan of Brian K. Vaughan's Runaways and have been thinking about picking up some of the tpbs.

p2501 - good call on Preacher, I've not read it for a while and totally forgot about it.

Thanks guys...I suck at buying new comics, I was in my local comic shop (Amazing Fantasy) for well over an hour trying to find something new!...Im slightly picky :o

Yeh my mate gets The Walking Dead so I just nick his ;) very cool comic. I looked at Y but dismissed it because...I dont know why?

I'll be getting the new comic called Zombie, not sure if it's just a maxi series or an on going one but hopefully that'll be good...

I'll have to write all these down and check them out because my memory sucks!

Thanx again!

Y is ok, it has started to peter out recently. it feels like they're itentionally dragging the plot out.

if you liked preacher check our Transmetropolitian. it's a differnet set of material, but the quality is just as excellent.

I hear it was planned for a 60 issue run and due to finish in 2008. I also going to take a look a Ex Machia (spelling?) it's also by Brian K. Vaughan, hear it's about a Superhero who also becomes the towns mayor?

I would recommend you run out and pick up the whole TPB collection of Ellis' Transmetropolitan or Spider Jerusalem will rip your eyes out and skull **** you. :)

After you finish that then you can move on to these TPBs.

100 Bullets - Brian Azzarello
Sleeper - Ed Brubaker
The Walking Dead - Robert Kirkman
Fables - Bill Willingham
Preacher - Garth Ennis

To say that Escape of the living dead sucks might be a little harsh. The story is not as well written as the walking dead, but i like the artwork.

The Walking Dead is a great Graphic.

If you are looking for something to give you a luagh but still keep you focused on Zombie survival check out this decent series: ZOMBIE TALES (BOOM! Comic's).

Its pretty good, and the artists are not bad. Worth a try.
