LOL - I like this one -
"Frisbeetarianism is the belief that when you die, your soul goes up on the roof and gets stuck."

I was fortunate to see George Carlin LIVE in Memphis, Tn....oh....it must have been 1984. We had 4th row....seeing his facial expressions was worth the price of admission; which, back then, was probably only $20. He was still doing the "List of Words You Can't Say on Television" I haven't been keeping up with him in recent years.

OH, I love these: (all Carlin)

I would never want to be a member of a group whose symbol was a guy nailed to two pieces of wood.

The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

What does it mean to pre-board? Do you get on before you get on?

and one of my favorites:

Death is caused by swallowing small amounts of saliva over a long period of time.

That one has always been a favorite of mine. Funny stuff:D

This one is another of my favorites: "Religion convinced the world that there's an invisible man in the sky who watches everything you do. And there's 10 things he doesn't want you to do or else you'll go to a burning place with a lake of fire until the end of eternity. But he loves you! ...And he needs money! He's all powerful, but he can't handle money!"

I just recently finished reading his book "Brain Droppings" which is pretty much a collection of quotes and short stories and there is this one that is about cave men and how they functioned.....VERY funny. It was about 4 pages long so I obviously can't quote it. But if you ever get the chance, read that book.

BTW, thanks for the nod, DJ. Everything HST rocks...

"Doesn't it strike you as mildly ironic that most of the people who are against abortion are people that you wouldn't wanna f*ck in the first place?" :clown:
