;) i'am watching this flic again tonight, and i was wondering what everyone at hpotd thought about this flic?
myself i like it. its got a good pace and the story is half a$$, plus knb did the effects so the gore is good.
this movie also stars Ken Foree (peter- dawn of the dead) as a survivalist who tries to help out a young couple being terrorized by the family.
Ken Foree is awsome and badder then ever in this flick, so check it out if you have'nt seen it.

It's alright, has it's moments, I found the behind the scenes thingy on the DVD quite entertaining - showed up what a complete botch-a-thon the production was, lol. Weird to see Mortenssen not swinging a sword into Orc too...

It's ok.
I seen it YEARS ago, about twelve years ago i think, fell in love with it and then could never find it again until a few weeks ago when i bought the DVD.
Unfortunately, it wasn't as good as i remember it to be, but it was still ok.
But not a patch on TCM2 ... viva la oddchop/dead dad face mask & crazy hopper :skull:

It is an average horror film. The coolest thing about it was a mention of DeLand, Florida in the beginning, where my dad resided at the time.
Viggo is hilarious! "If you need anything.... just twitch" :)
For some reason this DVD has a 6.1 DTS-ES track, which did sound great. Just seems odd that they'd take the time to do a mix like that for a movie like this.
Also...
I'm pretty sure they just wrote Foree back into the story at the end. How the hell would he have survived a chainsaw to the head?

You know...
I think they did just write him back in, I haven't seen the doc on the region 2 release for a while, but I do remember they brought him back after he was supposed to definately die. I'm glad he came back, I liked his character and that girl was annoying, but it was quite stupid...
Ken Foree is in it. He was also in Dawn of the dead the origional and the remake and in the Devils Rejects. Bill Moseley also from Devils Rejects was in TCM II. Kinda neat trivia there.
