Hills Have Eyes re-make was OK. Typical "new" horror, but all right. The violence and gore wasn't anything too shocking, except when one of the freaks started breast feeding off a pregnant woman. The main guy should have died a dozen times in the movie too, but they kept him alive just so they could have a feel good ending, which was bogus.
V for Vendetta was rocking. All I can say is, it was some revolutionary ****. The ending was powerful. Imagine a million Londoners parading through the streets brandishing nightblack cloaks and Guy Fawkes masks. Then, as the credits begin to roll... The Stones' Street Fighting Man starts blaring through the surround sound theatre speakers. It was a pretty intense movie experience.
"Everywhere's the sound of marching, charging feet, boy!"
