No, really! I need to know! I'm planning on doing a 2 or 3 part Evanescence Special for my "Cyko Ward" Podcast and I need to know what tracks you think should be played. I've got some VERY rare tracks that I'm gonna play.

And yes, I do know my podcasts Suck!!!!! (I'm still learning how to do them!!)

I can't really judge them because I've only heard the singles and a few other random songs. But I will say(my opinion, mind you) that what I did hear was kind of bland and repetitive.

Like I said, these were only singles and there could be some great ones that I haven't heard. But going from what I have heard.....nothing special.

is that the Emo/Goth teeny/bubblegum/pop rock chicka, kinda cute (if you like sad emo chicks) but whines alot? Sounds like everyone on American Idol?

Then you haven't heard their live versions of "Thoughtless" by Korn and "Zero" by The Smashing Pumpkins. Surprisingly, They can actually kick ass when they need too!

Yep, that would be Amy Lee (Lead singer). and yes... she is cute

I'd rather look at her than listen to her. She's adorable, but, the music is not my cup of tea.

Don't worry, they will grow on you. I thought they sucked when I first heard them (At the time though, I was a Hip-Hop fan), but now, I love them!

Yea, you may be the only fan:D

They are too processed...one band of many other bands out there that are told what to sound like. I dont like bands like that.

And Evanescence covering Korn? Thats like crap covering 5 week old crap.:D

Same here, she's hot but I hate the music. I did when I first heard it and I still do now. It's like with those tossers The Rasmus, *yuck*, they've taken the goodness of HIM and diluted it and added a bunch of teeny-bopping stylings - you can tell by the kind of following...and by coverage in Kerrang sh*tzine.

eh. it's good "in the car" music, much like linkin park.

great stuff for background music or when your distracted, but in situation where you can actually pay attnetion to the lyrics and overall content it fals apart like a runny turd.

on the plus side she is really cute. and their guitarist (who i'm told left the band) was pretty skilled.

beyond that they're totally forgettable.

i do agree with Minion and Bub that they sound heavily "produced".:rockbrow:

Linkin Park isn't good ANYTIME, ANYWHERE.

Like I said earlier, I haven't heard too many songs by them but....what gave you the impression that their guitarist is good? From the songs I've heard, all he can do is play simple riffs and cheesey lead melodies.

yikes, *listens to SYL, Nevermore, Opeth, Darkane and a little Apocalyptica to get the horrible thought of Evanescence covering Korn out of head* :barf:

Who the hell would want to cover a Korn song, anyway? They suck as it is so why cover it?

bleh....nobody knows what good music is anymore:p

Why shouldn't they? I mean, Korn is just awesome. With their awesome singer whose vocals sound so great.....doesn't sound like a retarded gerbil being kicked in the nuts or anything. Their great guitarists that play such melodic, heart-felt drop D and drop A riffs. Their talented drummer with the same pattern on every song. And of course their awesome bassist, Fieldy. Being a bassist, I get people all the time telling me that he is so great. He de-tunes his Ibanez and then plays the same wonderful riffs as the guitarists.

Yeah....who wouldn't want to cover this band....I mean pop group? They're wonderful!

They were great before but they are REALLY great now. Have you heard their latest single, "Twisted Transistor"? :barf:

if your drunk and stuck in a car, it's tolerable.

further when you stuck in traffic behind a $45,000 audi that thinks the left lane is a fine place to do 50 miles an hour. anything that distracts you from remembering the 9mm handgun in your day bag is a good thing.

Hey, I hate Korn period, so the fact that I like this song is a record unto itself! But hey, alot of people like hip-hop and alot of em are teenagers...alot of people believe that all teens like hip-hop and I hate that damn stereo-type...Talentless mooks..sorry, I really hate rap and that garbage, but alot of people seem to like it.
