Dark Water

I recently rented the Japanese drama/horror Dark Water. I thought the movie was going to be a straight-up horror in the vein of Ringu and Ju-On. Boy was I wrong. It's more like a (dare I say) chick-flick of a horror film. Not to say I didn't like it; it just wasn't what I wanted/thought it was going to be.

For those of you that don't know: It's about a single Mother and her daughter that are haunted by the ghost of a young girl when they move into a new apartment building.

Anybody else see it?

I have seen bits and pieces of the American version with Jennifer Connely. And I only saw those bits and pieces because of Jennifer Connely and it was on the movie channels...

But that version looks like crap.

not bad, but ring is still my favourite j-horror.:)

I saw it ages ago and I quite liked it but then I am a sucker for crap films ;)
