whats your favorite NHL hockey team?

i was wondering if there where any hockey fans in the forums. me i'am a really huge fan of the philadelphia flyers. i have loved the flyers since i was like 4 and have watched every game for the last 5 seasons without missing one.

I am a Flyers fan as well. I grew up in Philly and my dad is a Flyers fan as well. I even went to a bunch of games back in the day...back when Lindros was still good and young!

Being a Flyers fan, I absolutely loathe the Devils. Grr:mad:

But its hard to watch hockey now since its rarely on TV.

I hope you are right! I am quite sick of seeing my local hockey team play. They are down right AWFULL! LOL.

I would love to spend the money and see them play at home.

One time I even questioned the whole Bobby Clarke/Lindros feud--

I always think of Lindros as the"what should have been".. Kind of like the proverbial talent who has been told his whole life he was the next thing-- Heck even Messier and Lemeiux told him "Its all yours now-- run with it"..

What a punk he turned out to be-- now with him gone a few years, we have a great locker room and a real chance to lift the Cup again...

Favorite former Flyer? Rod Brind'Amour-- he was the one we should have kept-- pure class all the way.

i agree, brind'amour was a class act all the way. it was hard to see him leave the way that he did.
i just hope the goaltending can hold up in the playoffs.

The funniest was an old man who said "Get the F--k outta Philly you bastard!" or the young kid, about 14, who said "I should stab you people." and then ran away.

I was on a 6 hour lay-over on my flight from France and the entire time it was people talking crap to me and the other 25 people in our group. It was funny.

ha ha thats funny! philly fans love thier hockey ,and hate thier rivals. after game 4 i was so mad that i smashed my beer off the wall and kicked the t.v over. i had peaple teasing me all summer about the loss.
peaple are always telling me that i'm not a true canadian because i cheer for philly ,and hate the canadian teams. i have been told hundreds of times to "move to philly you traiter". (maybe i will someday)

Detroit Red Wings man!! I also like the Canucks and Oilers...bleh..just cause you don't like the Canadian teams doesn't mean you aren't Canadian...it means you don't like the teams. whoever says that is a tool in the extreme.

I had a beer and celebrated... and I don't like beer lol

Actually, that was the night of my graduation party so it just added to the already great atmosphere. We had so many people here celebrating it was awesome.
