Dear Gary Ugarek,
We are pleased to inform you that Deadlands: The Rising is an official
selection of the 2007 Dark Carnival Film Festival.
Dark Carnival is an international festival of independent horror films
to be held August 23-25 at the historic Buskirk-Chumley Theater, in Bloomington, Indiana (the home of Indiana University.) We’re expecting an excellent turn-out as the city welcomes more than 30,000 new and returning Indiana University students for the upcoming Fall semester.
Although it is a first-time event, Dark Carnival has truly taken on a
life of its own. We have received dozens of submissions from all over North America and all over the world, including the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, and Pakistan.
So looks like I am off to Bloomington, IN in August.
