Which do you prefer and whats your favorite and how d'ya take it?
I hate coffee when its hot (I swear it puts me to sleep) so I pretty much take it chilled with vanilla syrup and soy milk. I dont like the cheapest coffee like Folgers and Tasters Choice is just plum nasty. But I dont like Starbucks, no matter what to me it always tastes burned and lingers on the ol pallet a bit too long. Which leaves me to buy 3 o clock coffee.
I love tea on the other hand. I like green tea but some green tea like Liptons is a real joke. I like Ming Mei. My favorite tea is Twinnings Darjeeling and second to that would be Jasmine tea which I only had twice but it was wonderful. Typically in the morning though I have Darjeeling which I drink plain and piping hot.
I'm fascinated by Iranians method of drinking tea by placing a sugar cube in their mouth and essentially sipping the tea through that. While i've tried it I just can't seem to fathom why they dont just put the bloody cube in the tea~! Of course I also dont know why they put their fingers in the mastavakhir (or how ever you spell it) but hey... to each their own i'm still learning...

7-11 coffee with irish cream, and almost any tea will do.

I think tea tastes like teabagged old balls ... or what I'd approximate them to taste like anyway, having not been teabagged by old balls...but anyway, I tried tea and it was RANK.
Coffee, ain't tried it, but it smells much better coming from a proper bean, or Starbucks, none of that granulated sh*t...one of these days I'll have to force myself to get into coffee so I can stop saying politely "no, I'm okay, thanks" when offered one at meetings, haha...plus I'm getting to the stage where I really need to caffeine boost to get me through a day's shooting...not just yet, but I could do with it these days methinks...

Yeah! Here in the UK we have biscuits and then we have cookies, the latter being so very awesome that they get their own category...but don't get me started on the whole jam/jelly/marmalade thing.

Dunkin' donuts large french vavilla with six sugars and cream. If i drink any coffe after 3 in the afternoon i'll have alot of trouble sleeping that night. My mom and girlfriend can drink a cup at midnight and still sleep like logs. I have no idea how they do it.

lol... I remember going to an actual 'tea party' and they had biscuits and cookies and the marmalade things and mini sandwiches... quite awesome... if I could do it everyday I prolly would but it would be a party for one most times and be kinda boring lol
I'd love to know who does PR and advertising for Starbucks they actually made coffee trendy was that intentional or what?

Coffee with cream, hold the sugar.
Tea, iced, no sugar.

I think it's just something that people associate with england. The first 3 things i think about when i think of england are the beatles, tea and that barrymore dude you guys told me about (he seems really important to you guys):p I don't know, maybe The boston tea party might have something to do with it. :D

I actually assosciate it with golfing and garden parties I imagine they had the biscuits and marmalade cookies because they're served with tea in England but the mini sammies I believe were just for the idea that it was a buffet of feminine delicate foods and definately not the place where you're gonna find lil smokies... because thats where they happened when I grew up...
Tea in general I assosciate with England because I grew up on English teas...
Kinda like I assosciate fruit punch with cotillion... thats where I had it...
If anything i'd assosciate tea parties with beantown

I apologize, but i do get alot of info. about england from the media as i'm sure many do about americans. It's up to you to educate those of us who are ignorant in the ways of your country.
-Do natives of england call it Great Britain or England?
