Another Tomes of the Dead zombie book by Abaddon Books, this one is by Matthew Smith. See Tomes of the Dead thread for link to publishers.
This book has an original idea. A crime baron sees the zombie apocalypse as an oppotunity to become master of London - and more! The protagonist is one of Harry Flowers' gangsters and follows his adventures from gangster to fugitive - to retribution.
As you can guess, I like this series. I wasn't sure about the next one, The Devil's Plague by Mark Beynon. Cromwell selling his soul to the Devil for a walking dead army to do his bidding, but each of these books has a preview of the next book in the series, the first chapter. Reading this has made me wanting to get it when it becomes available!
