Hi Kiddies...

We are now 75% finished with the Theater segments of Trapped. One more weekend and we will have shot everything needed for the theater sequences.

It was a very productive weekend, 15 pages shot in 2 days, although i have not captured the footage yet I know it looks great. The cast can't stop talking about the dailies, which are looking fantastic.

The short version of Trapped, which will be one of 4 stories in the Zombthology project, will be completed by early spring 2008 and the feature length version will be complete Fall 2008.

I'd forgotten there was going to be two versions, ah good stuff, now we can get a peek at it earlier on to tide us over for the full whammy.

It's certainly going well, and you're hammering through the stuff.

In comparison to Deadlands, how many days shooting were there on that project roughly? I guess you're in a more efficient filming mode this time round, having had the experience on Deadlands.

Keep up the great work, Sir. :):cool:

on Deadlands we started Memorial Day Weekend shooting bit stuff here and there. On Jul 15-16 2005 we shot the first of the major story plot points

We filmed one weekend a month like this:

2005

Memorial Day Weekend
One weekend in June
Jul 15-16
Aug 10-11
Sep 14-15
Nov 3-4

2006

Mar 9-10
April 16-17
May 19-20
June - (First 3 weekends)
Aug 5 (To shoot picnic table scene ending)

25 days total to shoot Deadlands, and that has a final running time on the theatrical version of 72 minutes. (Total budget $10,847)

Trapped is in its 5th weekend (6th if you count rehearsals)

2007
Sep 28-29
Oct 5-6
Oct 12-13
Oct 19
Oct 26-27
*Nov 2 (Possibly will film to do some re-shoots of the two male leads searching the theater.)
Nov 10-11 (next filming weekend... needed a weekend off)
Nov 16-17

(Shooting on Hold until at least January for Holiday break)

Trapped will wrap in the spring, and the production budget spent so far is $3700.00 most of which has gone to putting up the crew and 80% of the lead cast in hotels because they live 90 miles or more from the theater location.

Break down of the budget

$900 Make-up budget
$500 Food
$1500 Hotel Rooms
$700 Tape Stock & Misc Equipment, Gas etc etc.

Trapped will probably be looking at a total of 18 Shooting days when it is completed.
