Any good "general horror" or "science fiction" stories?

I love the zombie tales, but I also like that the administrators here decided to branch out into other areas. It's a good change of pace. I also saw they don't get nearly the reads as the zombie tales do.

Any recommended stories in either of those areas? Thanks...
