Couldnt find a topic for this so thought i'd start one. Get a chance to find a few movies that people see.

Funnily enough I watched Dawn of the Dead ('78) last night so obviously an 8.5/10

I was thinking to myself though, I would love to see the TWD team create a loving faithful remake of it using the special effects and make up techniques they have now. I'm not a huge fan of remakes but lets face it the Zombie make-up in most cases hasn't aged well when you watch it now. It would have to be done right though, no running zombies, acrobatic super soldier main characters or slow mo CGI sequences

I watched an old movie last night, called "Fargo". I had never seen it before, and I watched it because there is a TV show starting next month based on it. I am pretty sure it got oscar nominations, maybe wins, but I was a little disappointed at how....ordinary...it was. i will give it a 6.5/10.

A lot of the film's approach dealt with the banality of evil, so I can see how the film might come across with less impact in some respects.

Took me a few viewings to appreciate 'Fargo', but now I think it's one of the Cohen's best films.

Same with me. Fargo took a little while to grow on me. It's also loaded with funny quotes that can be used in everyday situations.

After Fargo they made The Big Lebowski, of course. One of the greatest comedies of all time.

Oh, and Aussie flick "The Hunter", starring Willem Dafoe: Mmmmm, I'm gonna say 6.5/10.
