    Unfortunately, sounds like at least two dead and three critically wounded. Hopefully one of the dead is the terrorist and the wounded will all survive, so innocent deaths will be limited to the one other.

    Man Haron Monis is well known to the Australian police. The cleric is currently on bail for being an accessory to the murder of his ex-wife and is facing more than 40 sexual and indecent assault charges. Below is an archive image of the suspect.
    Sounds like a quality guy... He was given political asylum in Australia in 1996. Times like this you have to wonder why you can't kick people out of the country and back to where they came from.

    Hopefully he had a nice slow painful death...

    Why? Political correctness. Look at Sweden, where a party with seriously unsavory neo-fascist/white-supremacist roots (the Sweden Democrats) is reaching unprecedented levels of power because none of the mainstream parties is willing to say ANYTHING about immigration. But being unwilling to discuss the problem doesn't make the problem go away, so people are starting to turn to the only party that WILL talk about it.

    As a Swedish-American, who also happens to detest those neo-fascist/white-supremacist guys (I'm as left as can be, surprised?) I'd just like to point out that...

    You are absolutely correct. But they might have reached a peak now since they've acted pretty, pretty childish in the media lately.

    How would you go about bombing just terrorists, tho? It's not as if terrorists are all holed up in one place all together.

    Okay here's how we do it, we abandon a US airforce base, herd camels there, put lipstick on them to pass them off as women and leave a large stash of cocaine there to lure the terrorists in and then detonate a nuke.
