Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (film)

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Boy-oh-boy ... do we really need a fifth one of these?

Can it be as pish as the fourth one? I really enjoyed the first, and the second was pretty good (if a bit overlong), but the third one is where the rot really began to sink in. I still enjoyed the third as it tied up a trilogy, but good lord they didn't have drag it out and get seriously over-sized in the process.

On Stranger Tides (#4) was forgettable. I can't remember any damn thing about it, except I was thoroughly bored when I gave it a spin once it had limped onto the telly box.

Hopefully this fifth outing won't be as risible as that, but I wouldn't be surprised. Any idea of the running time? Will they have even learned the lesson that three hours of CGI isn't necessary?
