I've got to agree with Tricky. Although I don't straight up hate it, the original is nothing special really. It just came at the right time. |
The original when released on video was one of those films that was discussed eagerly in hushed groups when I was at school by kids that were far too young to be watching it (around 11 years old), and it had an almost legendary status, but I didnt actually see it till I was in my late teens/early 20's by which time the effects had dated horribly & I'd figured out the difference between good & bad acting, so I just found it laughable! |
