I just picked up the new issue of Rue Morgue and it has a great spread on the forgotten "From Beyond". This is another guilty pleasure of mine. According to the article there is a special edition dvd coming out later this year, after it premieres on Monsters HD. |

If it is not to much trouble, I am not familar with this film, I know it is from the late 80's and based on a H.P. Lovecraft work and I do remember the guy's deformed face on the video box, but what is the movie about. |
The original short story and film are somewhat different. The movie version adds extra characters and makes Crawford Tilllinghast into a more sympathetic character. |
