Rank Your Zombie Flicks

After seeing the Land vs. Dawn '04 debate going on the other forum, I figured this would be a decent idea. Here, list your favorite zombie flicks, in order. This way, we can get a good read on everyone's preferences. Here go mine: #1. Dawn of the Dead #2. Night of the Living Dead #3. Night of the Living Dead '90 #4. Dawn of the Dead '04 #5. Day of the Dead #6. Land of the Dead #7. Resident Evil #8. Return of the Living Dead #9. 28 Days Later #10. Shaun of the Dead That's the Top 10 order, from what I remember seeing. I've seen others, but I'm trying to block out the memory (some really horrible films...).

Night of the Living Dead (2007 - not the s**ty 3D one) Note: 28 Days/Weeks Later have been excluded because they are NOT zombie movies (groan), even though the creatures are zombie-ish. If I were to allow them in my chart, they would both rank somewhere in the middle. Also, I excluded The Evil Dead because people incorrectly categorise it (and it's sequels) with zombie flicks. In the first film, not one character died before 'coming back' (with the exception of Scotty of course, Shelley is debateable), so I can't put it in there. If I could, it would rank very high, maybe even number 3...

Zombie Diaries 8. Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things(for nostalgic purposes) 9. 28 Day/Weeks Later (liked weeks probably better)(they might not be zombies, but they ARE zombie movies) 10. Land of the Dead 11. Zombie2 12. Return 2 Sooooo many I've seen. Probably forgetting some that should be in the list. Maybe even bumping some top slots. 10 - Weekend At Bernies I & II 12 - the DOTD spoof segment in Waxwork II Only weekend part 2 counts. I forgot about Waxwork II. Great scene that!!!
