Now that I think about it, back in the 70s and 80s, the Trans-Am was product placed in a lot of films. Nowdays, you barely see them at all. I guess it's a chicken or the egg concept, but I wonder if this has to do with the current popularity of the car as opposed to back then?

i still love trans ams....and i was totally bummed when they stopped producing them in 2002. i'll bet that when the new models hit the streets in a year or two, their popularity will be sky-high again.
