Am I the only one who remembers this show?

To this day, still scares the hell outta me. I remember when i was around 9 or 10, waiting up until 3am to see this show on ITV....

Hmm, I only ever watched this when I'd roll in from one of my mates houses stoned out of my brains, I didn't really know much about it, I did like the fact that aliens seemed to be using what looked like victorian technology (or it seemed like that to me).

That was the first season when they've just awoken and are beginning to take over people's bodies. The Second season (known to fans as "The Second Wave") saw a new race of aliens taking over from the previous race and now making their presence known. They take over the world and force humans to live in piss-poor conditions.
