Thanks for the heads up. I'll pick it up unless it gets slammed like that last Romero mini-book.

I was talking with jewel shepard about it today. They are waiting on some photos to be released from WB regarding ROTLD 2.

Why when only the first two are any good?

$16.83 price tag, 288 pages to read.

Wouldn't it be just as cheap and a LOT faster and easier to just watch all 5 ROTLD flicks? Then you have the history.

    SRP,
Whilst I normally find you quite insightful and architect of many interesting thread posts, I must now question your sanity and/or intelligent quotient.

Did you REALLY just suggest to ANYONE to watch ROTLD 3 + ROTLD: Necropolis +++ ::shudders + vomits until guts rip:: + ROTLD: Rave to the Grave???

::slaps SRP soundly, assuming he MUST be hysterical::

Get ahold of yourself man, that's crazy talk!!!

Seriously though, ROTLD: Rave to the Grave takes the prize in my mind for Worst Zombie Flick Ever. And its #2 on my Worst Movie Of All Time list. (Behind The Pulse 2)

Makes House of the Dead 1&2 seem like masterwork cinema.

All sequels to Return are made with fun in mind, and I had fun with all of them.

    Wait,
You mean ::shudders::...you LIKED ROTLD: Rave to the Grave?
Wow man, you're like the opposite of a unicorn. The incredibly rare thing I NEVER wanted to see. A ROTLD 5 Fan.

Pardon me, have to go through a full decontamination protocol now, lest your taste infect me

3 wasn't that bad. That chained up emaciated zombie they raise at the beginning was scary as shit. I watched it alone and kept waiting for him to shamble around the corner any second. 4 and 5 sucked balls though.
1 and 2 were the shit. Still watch them. Hope the book is good.Like I'll ever get my grubby hands on it...

Did they get the rights to use photos from ROTLD 2?

Beware the beast, man, for he is the Devil's pawn. Alone among God's primates, he kills for sport or lust or greed. Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother's land. Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home and yours. Shun him, drive him back into his jungle lair, for he is the harbinger of death.

I enjoyed 1 and 3, didn't like 2 (which was too much comedy and forgot about scares, IMO) and thankfully haven't watched 4 or 5 (mainly due to ignorance about them even existing, then I found out about them here).

EDIT: I used to have that RotLD book, quite liked it, too.

Someone here should find the Allan trautman who played Tarman on the 1st ROTLD and interview him. Too lazy to look him up right now, but I think it would be a worthy interview for this site. Good times, good times.
