As a former DJ I listened to hip hop, and rap. I don't care for the newer stuff, like Billy Ray I dig Run DMC, Public Enemy, and some NWA, but this newer stuff is just horrible and was one of my main reasons for getting out of the business. Hell, I don't even know what the #1 song in the country is right now, and I have had my new car almost 2 months and still haven't programmed the FM station, or used the XM radio, which I do get free for a year. I have an MP3 player with my favorites on it, 900 songs that I like and that keeps me pretty well occupied. If I hear something new and I dig it, I will grab it and add it to the MP3 player, otherwise... Nothing released today is as noteworthy as the music I grew up listening too.

I wish we had the ability to "like" or "+1" posts. There's forum I used to belong to that has a "thumbs up" button you can click. It keeps track in the box the # of thumbs the post has received, & it you hover over it, it shows the memeber who thumb-ed it. No real mechanical erffect (other than I think you can earn mico-badges to go under your avater maybe?) but it's a fun little feature.
