    Read them all.

Love them though I always liked the first artist much more.

yeah, i second the notion that they should have stuck with the 1st artist. not that the guy doing it these days is bad.

hardcover #6 is out, should be getting it for christmas this year.

I haven't read any of the comic books...maybe that is a good thing?
Would you rather you didn't read the comic books or are you glad you did read them?

Agreed. IIRC there were creative differences between Kirkman & he, plus he was taking to long to get the art in? Shame, as his stuff was wonderfully detailed & all of the characters & zombies were "distinct". When the change occurred it was a bit jarring & a lot of the "personality" was lost IMO. But it's serviceable.

Hurm. Good question. On one hand, it's good to be able to compare & contrast, on the other you know what's coming. However, they've said they're not following the comic 100%, that there are plans to change it up A BIT, so even if you HAVE read it, there's no guarantees there won't be surprises further on down the road.

I have been reading since issue#1 came out and about issue 50 or so I switched to the trade... I prefer that now because some of the issues are a very quick read.
