Duke of Hazzard (film) - Yes another reboot of a reboot!

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. At least it's a "maybe" and not a definite... yet.

The writer of the article only guesses that it could possibly be a new Hazzard movie. Other than that all he knows is that it's an action flick set in the South during the 1970's and produced by the same guy. He's just putting spin on it to get more hits. Which must be working....

has the entire film world lost its frakkin' mind??

yet another reason why i hardly watch anything made after 1980 or so...there have plenty of great movies in that time for sure but most of it is inane shit like this so-called "idea."

And people wonder why piracy is so rampant in this industry.

Jody Hill would be awesome for the job, if this is true. Everything he does/touches is instant gold in my book. I'd figure buddy Danny McBride would make an kickass Cooter.
I don't remember where, but I do recall hearing Danny say he was working on getting a remake of Six Pack made. Maybe that could be what they were actually doing. Either way, I'd be there when it comes out.
