I wonder whether the seller will honor the transaction or just accept the negative consequenses and re-list the console.

he didnt add a reserve bid so it started at 99p so someone just bid 10 bucks and got it, serves the scalper right odds are if he wasnt in that que someone who actually wanted the console could have got one, and i guess one did, albiet a lot cheaper, lol.

    now thats karma.

That's not what I'm saying. It doesn't make any sense that thousands of people are seeing PS3's for $1,000+ and bidding on them like crazy... but there's one sitting there for $9.99 and only 1 person bids on it. WTF?

I wished I would have bidded on. Then I would have turned around and sold it dirt cheap or maybe kept it for myself.

if you saw a p$3 for 1p would you bid?, id expect it would be a catch or a scam, or if i was quickly scanning a list of search results id just think at a glance that it would be another one of those 99p e-book rip offs you see so often on there.

Good catch Andy. Doubt the seller will deliver the PS3 for that price though.

Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home and yours. Shun him, drive him back into his jungle lair, for he is the harbinger of death.

Did you notice this in the small print above the listing?????

"The seller ended this listing early to sell to the high bidder(s) at current bid price."

And if you look at the bids it says that automatic bids are not listed so there may be a much higher bid or possibly they made a deal so the seller does not have to pay the percentage fee to eBay.

If you scroll down it says 'BUY IT NOW FOR $1250.00' which is probably what happened.

No idiot would sell it for 10 dollah.
