We dont have as many huge theme parks as you guys over the pond, but there are a few which are decent!Heres my pick of favourite rides from over here..
First off the ones at alton towers..

That one is "oblivion" which is a vertical drop coaster into a deep pitch black hole, the drop is awesome but its a fairly short ride!

"nemesis" which is an awesomely vicious coaster, fast with tight loops & stomach tightening drops, its pretty damned intense!

"rita queen of speed" (**** name) which launches you from 0-100 in 2.5 seconds, then throws you round all sorts of twists & turns at the same speed, quality coaster!

"air" which once your strapped in tilts the seats forward so its like your flying,it loops, barrel rolls & goes round sharp bends with huge rocks literally a couple of feet under you,its a very good ride even though its slightly slower than others

Then theres flamingo land with this little beaut!

"velocity" it does exactly the same as the rita ride at alton towers with the extremely fast acceleration, except your sat on a motorbike with no carriage around you!

I am a fan of the Millenium Force at Cedar Point, I was finally able to ride it for the first time this year and it is fantastic. I wanted to ride the Maverick, but as usual at Cedar Point, the new rides are down quite a bit the first couple years and it was down on my only visit this year, but next year that ride will be mine.

I also went to Michigan's Adventure this year. It only has a few coasters, but it's water park is amazing and included with paid admission to the park. Cedar Point bought them a few years ago, so they are building it up and I have a feeling that within the next 10-15 years it will be a much larger attraction for Western Michigan than it is now. The Thunderhawk is new this year and it is pretty fun, but a very short ride. If any of you have a chance to go I would recommend it for the water park alone.

As lame as it may sound, I also like Space Mountain lol

    !
Dude, that would indeed be awesome. I would love to see Disneyland, if only to compare and contrast what I grew up with. You have no idea what a Disneyphile I am.

Yeah, Ace, Magic Mountain rules! Kind of like Disneyland, but with more gang fights!

i dont see how all those gangs drive that far to fight and shoot rather than go to "didneyland" and do it. i guess everyones a kid at heart.

i've been in the car with my dad before driving to magic mountain to get my brothers when this stuff jumped off before
