I've never claimed to be a huge fan of hip hop. Infact, I detest a lot of it, but even I can see that there are genuinely talented people that produce music in the genre. I could understand and agree if examples had been given, such as Soulja boy, who does use simple, and often recycled beats, Or even going back a little further, and using Vanilla Ice who was well known for pretty much outright stealing the bassline to 'under pressure'. Using those examples, among more recent ones, as a case for all hip hop being shit, however, is pretty much a bad generalization.
