I thought the first movie was great, and I am going to hold out to find out if the next one is as good. BTW I loved all three GAR movies, the Savini remake of night and the Dawn '04 remake ( though I dont see this as a remake more as a different movie).

Did some of you actually hate Land after you first saw it, and then have to convince yourselves that you loved it because you couldn't fathom the idea of hating a Romero zombie flick? Tell the truth! Cause I was dissapointed in it, but I'm not a Romero purist. MMMM... well i hated Land on first viewing, but after a second watch I appericiated more, and more. Have to say that the up till about 8 years ago when I started to look at other zombie views ie.. Blind Dead, Zombie, etc... that I appreciated there is a much wider and varied view of this mythos as opposed to a purley Romero View. I still dont accept 28 days as a zombie movie, this is not due to previous conceptions of an ideal, but rather that zombies by very definition are the living dead, not the living living with a virus.

I was only moderatly pleased with the 28 Days later. I felt that while interesting it was kind of tame. I am not really a fan of British horror films. Although I must say that I loved the score and the soundtrack from 28 days later, it was really excellent.
