Then why not show more stories now without killing off existing characters? Maybe take a hiatus on the old crew, start out with somebody new until he wants to see what's been up with Rick & co? I did hear rumours of a spin off book that was essentially just that. one shot or mini 3 to 5 issue arcs about different people at different times of the breakdown of society. Like 'Tales of the Walking dead' or something like that.

I remember that BSG was never more than a day or two behind the US showings, eventually moving to the same day for the last season...I expect we will be a day or so behind the fat greedy 'mericans...scoffing the lions share of all that zombie goodness...damn them!

I remember that BSG was never more than a day or two behind the US showings, eventually moving to the same day for the last season...I expect we will be a day or so behind the fat greedy 'mericans...scoffing the lions share of all that zombie goodness...damn them! Well if it's within two days (preferably one) then I'll catch it on FX for sure, and show my support officially ... then, naturally, I'll simply have to get the DVD/BR box set - hopefully there'll be quality extras too.

In the letter hacks section Kirkman has said that he doesn't like spin offs. He had considered it, but he felt that he would be "Milking it." saying that next up would be an Invincible Crossover. I read that in a few issues, actually. And Kirkman has said that he wishes he could do 1000 issues. He claims he has the overall plot outlined for the next few hundred issues. Fun Fact: Did you all know kirkman was going to name his series 'Night of the Living Dead'? He says in one of his hardcovers, and decided to change it to be taken' more seriously.(I'm so glad he did.) The first few panels were pretty blah as well.(Old 60's TV and a Zombie making noise outside of Rick's Door.) I thought that was neat.
