The links are disappearing fast. Heres another one.

I like what I saw. It does look very scifi movie original, but I put that down to the rough cut of the footage and the pre editing. Otherwise. . looks interesting. The zombies are good. And it looks like it might be a Fistful of Dollars situation with zombies. Interesting.

Motherfucker ... I can't see it on the original link, and it's not on YouTube, where's this damn trailer gotten to? Anyone got a link I can see?

Goddamn today's just one of those lame-arse days...

    ...

    Nevermind, I found it here:

    http://www.beyondhollywood.com/tease...d-of-the-dead/

I don't think it looks cheap at all actually - clearly it's unfinished, it's still in production, and that footage hasn't finished being graded/coloured yet by the looks of things, nor is the sound sorted yet.

Looks aiiight to me, much better than Diary of the Dead - which is a film I liked, but to be totally honest with myself, it wasn't up to much.

This though - looks alright, so it does.

The way these links are disappearing, I really think this isn't a teaser and was never meant to get out to the general public...

Looks interesting. I can't believe people still complain when GAR makes zombie movies. Do I think Land/Diary are better than the original 3? Nope. Was I happy they were made? Oh yes. Just have fun with these movies, guys, like someone said in a earlier post, it's probably his last.

Yeah, that's what I always think. Remember back between Day and Land when we were foaming at the mouth to get another Romero flick and it seemed like it would never happen? Now we have three more, and while I agree they're not as great as the originals(they were never going to be anyway, imo) all we hear is bitching and moaning.

Neither Diary nor Land are as good as the originals and yes they have flaws, but they're still entertaining for at least a few viewings. Things could be much, much worse....

It really does look interesting. Some of the visuals are different than what I'm used to from GAR (thinking the wider, panoramic shots) and it does have a different look to it. I'm definitely open to the costuming, as I know a lot of people who dress like that out passed the suburbs, upstate and the like (ranchers, wannabe back to nature types etc.). We also know little of the context of the film, so I can't quite make too many judgments about wardrobe choice at this point.

The one thing I noticed that was a bit off was that it looked like Romero went shopping at the Accents 'R Us, when he cast his actors. Now, I like accents, it just caught me off guard, is all I'm sayin', and since the line between a good accent and a hokey accent is very thin, I hope that all works out well.

I agree with those who say this is unpolished, so here's to hoping things get ironed out good and proper before release.

But there’s nothing here that would lead me to believe Romero has gone back to form. To be perfectly honest, I don’t know why he keeps mining this territory. At this point, is there anything he can say using the undead as a metaphor or analogy or allegory or whatever it is the proper word I’m trying to think of is?"

Have you read the single comment under that article that was entered thus far, DC?

""This director or George, is he the one who also did Diary of the Dead?
That movie was a complete piece of trash!

I only watched it because I though Simon Pegg was in it>:@!"

That kid needs an education. I mean, I didn't like Diary, but he doesn't know who is being referred to in the article? He doesn't don't know George Romero???

    That's just sad.

I for one am giving this one a chance. As for why we bitch. . it is in our nature. It is what we do. . . it is our job. But I will not bitch until I see the movie. After that. . all bets are off.

I really don't think it looked bad at all. I don't understand what everyone's complaining about - it looked like it was hastily edited together and post-processing obviously hasn't been done on it yet - but from what I saw, I think it looked like exactly the sort of film I'd watch. It has a kind of Day-ish vibe to it, but with more action. I'm perfectly happy with it.
