    I struggled with this book at first. Took a while to get my head around the 28 days later infected types turning in to shambling zombies. Wasn't sure what the book was trying to do. Thought the scene portraying the river running thick with bodies was quite possibly the poorest bit of writing I have ever witnessed.
    I eventually made it through the book thanks to being bored shitless while on holiday in Alcudia. Have you read the second book? I have it, but have not started it yet.

    I think I may try to get the audio book so I can listen to this series in the car.
