now if this dont sell ya nothing will

The new trailer for rock band (in HD!,woop-di-do!), and for those too lazy to click its got some cg people dirving through the desert on top a car screaming along to highway star by deep purple.

I myself was still leaning a little towards guitar hero but for the reason i was, those are the reasons id prefer rock band, since its made by the guys who mad eguitar hero 1 and 2 and 3 isnt. Plus beating the **** out the drums as well as wailing, boht figuirativley and literally on the guitar and mic respectivley.
I take guitar hero 2 round freinds at partys all the time and people have a blast, rock band just has that same vibe wereas guitar hero 3 just seems a little more "shut yourself in your room and live the dream" rather than "everyone picks an instruments and gets playing" on rokc band, but thats just my 2 cents.

It looks great, but theres just too much else coming out this year for me to spend $200 on a single game. Plus, I think it will be tough getting 3 other friends together whenever you want to play. Yeah, its got online play, but what fun is jamming with people you don't know? Also, I think Rock Band's song list pales in comparison to Guitar Hero III's. Neversoft seems to be making GHIII for the hardcore GH player. The songs look difficult, but rewarding. That DragonForce video they released looks insane! They even has brought in people from scorehero.com to do the button tracks for each song.

I think I prefer Guitar Hero because they've streamlined the experience, and are able to concentrate on making a great guitar game, rather than spreading their resources over 4 different instruments.

I want that game, but I can't afford to spend that much on a single game.
