More great news the ratings have gone up. These are the most important ratings to me as the show finds it's audience

    Up & Up & Up

The Walking Dead went up to 5.1 million viewers, 3.3 million adults 18-49.
That's right between where it premiered wtih 5.3 million and its second episode of 4.7 million.
In case you were wondering, 2.1 million of those in the adult demo were male, which is a pretty strong tilt. AMC has already renewed the show for a second season.

You shouldn't get your hopes up, Deb. IF they follow through with that....it would just be a background extra. Nothing major.

BTW....as I'm sure everyone expected, AMC is looking to get the second season on the air by next October during their Fear Fest lineup. Those guys call it a long wait. It's actually sooner than I expected...

I agree, but it's still going to feel like forever. I'm already lamenting next week's is the last.
Just having to wait a week between episodes was tough enough.

    Oh man. 5.6m this week

    Onwards and upwards

AMC should give TWD a massive budget next year and spend it on zombie extras so we can have masses and masses of them onscreen.

I'm really shocked that it's going up. After the stellar opening, I thought the only way to go was down. Bravo AMC....bravo.

Now get to work on that second season. You've got eleven months.

Seems the ratings have gone up after each action orientated episode.
