Unbroken (film) - Angelina Jolie's Louis Zamerpin docudrama

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Saw this trailer before Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and it does look quite good. Unfortunately even if it's a great film, all anyone will ever talk about is the fact that Jolie directed it. Maybe not....Ben Affleck was able to break away from that and become respected as a director rather than the novelty of a superstar trying something different. We shall see.

Oh dear! Reviews are fairly average - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/f...he-spirit.html

Jolie has made a 137-minute long film that gets us barely further than a poster, and O’Connell is the poster-boy.
