I'll get around to it eventually, but I know that Hellsing is hot-to-trot for it, although I wouldn't be surprised if he was back here in a week or two having a whinge about it.

It looks like a good time though, well a scary time, I really dug Doom 3, so I'll get my ass in Dead Space sometime - but it's not high up on my list, I've got TONS of games to get into before then.

There are so many games coming out in the near future that I'll more than likely wait on Dead Space.

Probably put it on my Christmas list. Yes I'm 43 & still have to make a Christms list . People say that I never give them a chance because I buy everything I want for myself. So this time of year I usually hold off to give them ideas .

I'm hoping for a demo on Xbox Live which would be great to get a feel for the game.

If anyone plays Dead Space let us know how it is. It does look great !!

I'm the very same good sir, I make a list and get the minor complaints of the sort of stuff I ask for is the stuff I buy myself anyway - ah but what I do is write a list, distribute it to my family and then NOT buy anything on that list myself ... because my wish list has LOADS of stuff on it, so there's plenty of buy, you've also gotta pick the order of purchases wisely, and then reap the benefits of discounted items that have been on the list for a while.

was gonna get it today, but its reported play time is 4 hours on average so full price wise i thought fable 2 would be more bang for my buck so to speak.

    looks bitchin' as owt though.

Erm. No. It's reported length is 12 hours on the first run through. One thing I will say is that it's far too easy on medium so I'm playing it on hard. Much much better.

4 hours? Where did you hear that blatant bollocks from?

And if you add in 'gawping time', it'll be longer.

Although I went for Saints Row 2 for the sheer 'bang for your buck' factor, plus some of these new titles I wanna play on PC sometime soon, so that narrows things down a bit.

    Got is Saturday.

Pretty cool game, although the camera over the shoulder view is a bit annoying but you get used to it.

Love the telekinesis, picking up dead bodies and throwing them around.

The no gravity areas are fun too.

I doubt there is less than 4 hours play, I've played longer than that and I've only really had 2 'bosses'.

Worth a play, so go get it!

actually i got it and on average its about 20 minutes a level for me on hard mode, the biggest reason for that is the enemies are all scripted, nothing is random, if i die, i know, "aim left, turn the corner aim high" ect. so you can just breeze through it.

still lots of fun though, but 2 and a half hours in and im at chapter 7 or 8 out of 12, so yeah, not too long.

Or maybe you play too many videogames.

Perhaps you're not like the rest of us lesser videogaming mortals.

it may be short but i wouldn't knock it too much, the ai's so-so but its longer than gears of war and just as atmospheric and memorable, its at least worthy of renting for a few nights just to experience the gameplay.

That's what I plan on doing. Too many $60 games being released around the same time. I am only buying certain ones and renting the rest.
