Well none of that didn't happen if you didn't want to make missouri and kansas slave states. You, like all yankees, are hyprocritical revisionists. When Lincoln emancipated the slaves, he only freed the slaves in secessionist states. While that lying bastard was demonizing the south for slavery, he allowed slavery to continue in states that didn't secede. Missouri (actually seceded but was occupied by federal troops), Kentucky, Delaware and Maryland were allowed by Lincoln to keep their slaves. Get your facts straight before you make "slavery" the key issue of the war.

Regardless of what Lincoln did to end slavery, one of the main reasons why the war was started was because of that. Turkey is about as secular state as there can possibly be, women are banned from wearing burka's and other head dreases into goverment buildings. Islam in it's most fundamental form does, but who cares about that?
