Some good movies coming out? mb?

    The Omen (6-6-06)
    The DaVinci Code
See No Evil (I think thats the name)

    Well Wolf Creek sucked.

Hostel Was all about tits, which isn't necessarily bad but the movie was gay.

That one movie that took place in australia where only the guy survives was cool kinda

Hopefully the top 3 movies will be good

The DaVinci Code will be boring, like the book. Am I the only one that thinks that Dan Brown writes about on par with R.L. Stine? Their styles are very similar....

Im still uncertain about The Omen remake, since I love the original.

See No Evil looks absolutely horrible.

There are definately other films you could have listed other than these.

Surprisingly X-Men 3 looks very good...lets see if the loss of Singer will really matter too much...

You said it sucked, yet you mentioned the movie that took place in Australia where the guy survives was cool? Which is it? Or is there another movie with the same plot as Wolf Creek that was good?

BTW- I agree with what you first said, Wolf Creek did suck and it is NOT a true story. Loosely based off of several true stories only, mostly the Backpack Killer in Australia.

I'm tired of remakes, but I will probably go see The Omen. The DaVinci Code will probably be good, Ron Howard made it after all. See No Evil looks rotten, even their current WWE tie-in is lame, but I will rent it when it comes out in July or August.

The movies I am excited about this summer are

    X-Men 3
    Superman Returns
    Clerks 2
And I will admit, I want to see Snakes on a Plane if only to hear Samuel L. Jackson say his famous words.

THere are a couple more I want to see, but I forget the titles off hand.

    The Omen = maybe
    X-Men 3 = Yes... without a doubt...
    Superman Returns = Hell No
See No Evil = WWE wrestler, acting, it will never work!
Clerks 2 = I've never seen the first one so, I can't really comment
Snakes on a Plane = I've only heard bits and pieces about this film so, again I can't comment

These are the ones I'm looking forward to this year(in no particular order):

    1. "Pan's Labyrinth"
    2. "Grindhouse"
    3. "Hard Candy"
    4. "Superman Returns"
    5. "Zodiac"(Fincher....enough said)
    6. "You, Me, and Dupree"
    7. "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby"("Anchorman", anyone?)
    8. "Strangers With Candy"
    9. "Southland Tales"(Richard Kelly's next flick after the great "Donnie Darko")
    10. "A Scanner Darkly" (Linklater's latest "thinking" flick)
    11. "Posiedon"(Only because of the original and the director)

I feel like I'm forgetting some, but I think that just about covers it.

The last I heard, they are shooting for a release at the end of this year. It may have been changed, though.

Rodriquez does have the reputation of being able to churn out a flick fairly fast and the last I heard, he was almost done with his segment while Tarantino was starting his soon.

I know I am eagerly awaiting Grind House, I wonder if Tarantino will use film, and Rodriguez uses the Sony Cinealta Digital camera. Last i heard Tarantino isn't a huge fan of the digital cams. Even though he used it on Sin City, he still preferred film.

I think it may be pretty good...Ill probably give it a watch.

The girl that plays the main girl in that movie is also Shadowcat in X-Men 3. She's got a good summer going!

The only thing I have heard about X-File 2 is that it was being discussed. I hope they make it, I used to be a hardcore X-Files fan, up until they ruined it by not ending it after Mulder left.

IMDB says Hard Candy came out in 2005 and was about a 14 year old girl who hangs out with an internet pedophile or something. Doesn't sound too thrilling. Is there another Hard Candy coming out?
