    Bout time they got this project running. The Super Collider in Texas was shut down years ago, because of the cost and other things. I am very curious of the results. Maybe someone will discover nuclear fussion soon.

    Christ, I mentioned the Frankie Boyle joke about this on Mock the Week last Thursday, to a mate of mine (who did physics at uni) and he got so bent out of shape and took the joke's inaccuracy so seriously - IT'S A F*CKING JOKE!!!

    He got so bent out of shape about absolutely nothing, he was a like a rabid physicist gone postal for a bit thereafter, hahaha.

    ...

    What I want to know is:

    Is the blackhole theory actually at all possible, even if it's a slim chance ... OR ... is it NOT AT ALL possible.

    i think i read the experiments got a 0.0001% chance of opening loads of small black wholes, which will collapse on themselves after a few seconds, but can cause, i dunno, bigass earthquake or explosion or something.

    the bit that shocks me is that theres a miniscule chance it could do some major damage and most people worldwide dont even know it exists!
