    best cartoon short ever?

i've always been very, very partial to bugs bunny. aside from scooby, he is the ultimate cartoon character, in my not so humble opinion. this short has always reduced me to tears.

Hey! That's a classic. One that I have memorized from my childhood. The beard tug-o-war always tickles my funny bone.

I'm still a young guy, but is it just me or have kids raised in the last 10-15 years been brought up to NOT know Bugs and the Tunes? I've been surprised at the younger kids that don't know anything about Looney Tunes....

probably because the modern day pc pussy patrol has taken it upon themselves to decide that bugs is too "violent" and too "non pc" for children's fragile minds.

all i have to say to that is: BULLSHIT.

    *whipping out my parental soapbox*

seems like most children's shows are more interested in turning kids into simpering pussies who want to hold hands with everyone and sing kumbayah around the peace tree. fark that. plus, there is this whole "preparing kids to be citizens of a global community" pap. sorry, well acutally i'm not, i don't want my kids learning how be citizens of "a global community" because they aren't citizens of anything else other than ohio and the US, in that order.

    *puts soapbox away*

That is a good one. One of my favorites. Hard to pick just one. LOVES me some Loony Toons. There were SO many good ones. Here MIGHT be the greatest...

Another good one w/ Bugs & Daffy:

    A good one for Halloween:

I like "What's Opera Doc?" (Kill da Wabbit), but can't find a good version, so here is:

    Bugsy & Mugsy:

    Baby Face Finster:

I could go on & on...

Pink Panther has always been my favorite.

I literally have boxes of Pink Panther items
    that people give me constantly.

He to me is cool cuz of the great music, he is
not afraid to pick up a stick and whack someone
in the head with it, getting drunk is allowed, and
a general surrealism separates his cartoons from
    the standard ones.

Not the one i was looking for but a good one.

Beware the beast, man, for he is the Devil's pawn. Alone among God's primates, he kills for sport or lust or greed. Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother's land. Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home and yours. Shun him, drive him back into his jungle lair, for he is the harbinger of death.

When I was a kid they were kind of pushing out bugs etc & replacing them with the "tiny toons" which I thought was crap, but that seems to have disappeared too in the 2000's!
