    Ahaaaaaaaa! Alan Partridge is back!

    http://www.denofgeek.com/tv/21371/al...he-bbc-for-sky

Alan Partridge is coming back to telly with two specials and a series! Oh. But only if you’re a Sky subscriber…

First, the good news: two new one-hour Alan Partridge specials and a TV version of web series Mid Morning Matters are happening. Now, the slightly less good news: if you’re not a Sky subscriber, you won’t technically be able to see them (until the DVDs). That’s right, Alan Partridge, formerly of the BBC’s parish, has upped sticks to Sky for his new series.

Steve Coogan has signed a Sky Atlantic deal which includes a one-off tour of Partridge’s home county of Norfolk, and a one-hour book group special for the radio DJ, both of which sound a bit magnificent.
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. Back o' the net...

Seriously though, I really hope that they can maintain the quality of the BBC stuff. Remember when 'Blackadder' went to Sky, they wrecked it.
