Sorry! Is no one else worried for this kid?

So his beloved pet dies... and he's so upset... he puts machinery and wires into it to make it into a flying toy!

Now, detachment is the first step to being a total nut job IMHO! Sorry!

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. I think he's just copying what that other guy did on YouTube with his cat (turning it into a helicopter dead cat thing) ... it's called "The Orvillecopter" apparently:

So I'd imagine the rat owner kid was just copying that same idea ... weird and creepy as it is.

Not that I bothered watching it, but I saw an advert for some Channel 4 documentary about the upswing in taxidermy for pets - but weird taxidermy - so the pets are doing strange things, or human-like things, or flat-out turning dead pets into other objects (it seemed in the trailer that one guy wanted to turn his deceased, 'beloved' cat into a pair of gloves).
