"Civil Enforcement Officers" ... ugh ...

    http://uk.news.yahoo.com/skynews/200...t-45dbed5.html

While I agree that there should be a variety of fines to make some fairer and others harsher, re-naming parking attendants "Civil Enforcement Officers" is just pathetic, they're specifically there to deal with parking related matters and they dish out fines.

A "CEO" sounds like one of those cops-who-aren't-cops...Community Support Officers, that's right, another f*cking joke. They've got no powers and just stand around being highly visible (cos of those jackets, which just make people look like berks ).

I do however, find the use of CCTV to dish out parking fines a bit dodgy. Smells of money making scheme to me, rather than anything proper.

Seems as though the only things that ever get done in this country are things the gubment can make cash out of, or involves spying on people.

Also, not sure if this relates to speeding, I'd heard that it did a while ago, but not sure if it actually does, because after all, doing 35 in a 30 and doing 55 in a 30 are two massively & completely different things. So I support fair fines for speeding, on a proper scale.

Civil Enforcement Officers should be highly armed forces similar to the "rehabs" in Robocop 3 - and should mainly be employed to beat the crap out of chavs who hang around street corners....sorted.

Another zanu-labour gimmick....oh look, let's call them "Civil ENFORCEMENT officers" that'll sound really "tough on crime"...meanwhile, how about another early release scheme for rapists and child molestors...

    You Think Thats Bad?

The indian casino I work for changed my status from rent a cop tp Unsworne Law Enforcement Officer so the tribal police department can get grant money based on the size of its department. The department has 14 officers, our security department has over 200 officers. We all qualify as police officers and make them availabe to steal tax payer money for grants. Illegal no, unethical highly.
I know youd rather see me gone,Than to see me the way that I am. But I am in the life anyway.
