VHS: Long Play - on YouTube now!

Done and dusted people. 5:30 long, enjoy.

Just a short, odd, experimental, fast & loose short made for absolutely no money whatsoever.

VERY well done, Nick! May I ask what kind of camera you're using? Also, it looks like you use Sony Vegas for editing, am I right?

I enjoyed that. It was a tad short but yeah, quite an intelligent little monologue there. Well done.

Well, I went for short-and-wanting-more, rather than long-ish-and-wanting-less, so ... yeah.

I used my gorgeous DVX100B, and used Sony Vegas for the employment of Magic Bullet, the actual act of chopping and slicing was done in Pinnacle (it's just easy as pie, once you know your way around the glitches, for simple cutting).

Also, I'm drunk right now, so I'm trying really hard to type properly. How am I doing?

Glad you enjoyed the film, I sought to improve upon the first one in all respects...

I like the imagery! Very eerie

It's funny, because this reminds me of a short I used to see that occasionally ran on PBS in the states, which featured a film editor (IIRC) who was chased by film that literally came to life. The shots of the animated film were all done in stop motion, and I believe may have aired with most of the sounds taken out (no dialog, screaming etc.). Basically the film slithered after the guy, eventually cornered him, cocooned him and ostensibly devoured him and, of course, you later see the victim 'captured' on the film, literally. It freaked me out as a little kid watching it.

Anyway, well done and thanks for reminding me of something from my childhood.
