River City Ransom is awesome, I've still got the original NES cart The GBA update was pretty good, too.

Gonna add a couple that none of you will probably mention:

I loved this game, this title is an update of the game made in 1982, which was the original city sim game. I really loved how you could send spies out to whatever alien city that belonged on the planet and you would get reports back starting with simple sightings and far observation to detailed reports of their culture.

I played this as a youngun', so I remember it as an immense game at the time. I played it again recently on the pc and although it is a bit dated I still think its a great little game.

Baldurs gate 2 Shadows of Amn was, and still is, my favorite all time game. Never have I been so engrossed in a video games story, held such attachment for the characters, and wanted to finish it to see the end...

I have played a bit of Throne of Bhaal, but I lost the cd-key/cds

my other favorite would have to be Diablo 2, for sheer re playability in the online format...it gets old after a time, but even now, i still find myself playing it..

Also Dawn of War is my favorite Strategy game. Played the Beta of Dawn of War 2, and i am liking what I see thus far.

Dead Space is also a personal Fave of mine. It may not be entirely original or innovative, but it is down right frightening at parts (especially on the hardest difficulty when ammo is very hard to come by at times, and you have to be extremely accurate). it is claustrophobic, the creature design is great, and the story, while again, not original, is told very well through the various audio diarys and text diarys that are splayed throughout the Isimura.

Also, Eve online. I fuggin love that game.

How about Donkey Kong...or PacMan...or Galaga...some of the old school games when you had to slide a quarter in the slot.

How about Asteroids? I used to play that on the arcades years ago, still as boring now as level 2 of Donkey Kong. Great ye olde games but they ain't shit compared to the titles of the 80's and 90's, let alone 360...

    Streets of Rage 2.

    No question
Innocent victims of merciless crimes, fall prey to some madman's impulsive designs.

Step after step we try controlling our fate. When we finally start living, it's become too late.

Awesome game, I was actually given a SNES copy of it a few years ago by a coworker who knew I liked zombies. Best random gift ever!

As for my favorites I have to go with Chrono Trigger. I can still sit down and play it for hours at a time and never get bored. It is a game with a story that has substance, the game play is great and the graphics were awesome back in the day (even though I have always cared more about game play than graphics, it is the most important part of the game).

Second for me would be FF3/6. It's great, simple as that.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time are tied for me. I love them both.

Bioshock. I cannot express how good this game is in almost every way. If you have not played it get it and play it, there is no excuse not to do so.

Those are my picks for now. I'll probably add more later.
